Ground Launching
Common in Europe, ground launching is quickly gaining acceptance in the US as a safe, efficient, fun way to fly. Superior Soaring is leading the way with a brand new dual-drum winch from the UK’s Skylaunch, Ltd. The winch, which was on display in Reno at the February 2023 Soaring Society of America convention, provides reliable launching, operated by soaring veterans.
